Ronnie's testimony
The Way Trust has been set up to oversee work help schemes for men and women who have difficulty in gaining and sustaining employment.
Ronnie writes: “Straightway provided a bridge for me between
my hopeless jobless past and the cracking job I have now at
Pentagon freight. It was working for Straightway that got me into
the rhythm of getting up every morning, come rain or shine and
developing the discipline of work. It was also at Straightway that
I learned different skills and got my confidence back. One of the
big things for me was the chance I got to get my licence back
and start driving the van. My two year Straightway experience
gave me the chance to prove myself so I could be
recommended for the job I’m in now. I will always be grateful
the Straightway opportunity ever came along.”
